I grew up in New Harmony. Its a Beautiful, quaint little town. Like stepping back in time.
Came to town for the Kunstfest and a couple of weeks later for the International Fest. Great time at both events. Want to visit again at a time when no big events are going on for a more leisurely visit. However, there always seems to be something happenings there. Maybe going in the middle of the week will work.
Very clean and WELL taken care of. The people take pride in everything. From the food to the products they sell. GREAT DAY TRIP. Also BEAUTIFUL bed and Breakfast. Found it last weekend. Had no idea it was there. The people on the front porch said "it's the only place to enjoy a quite retreat. And GREAT FOOD." SO COME ENJOY SOUTHERN INDIANA. Don't forget Westside Nut Festival first FULL weekend of October. Second biggest after Media Gru
